LifeCare Residences has two award-winning nursing homes, both in tranquil environments with beautiful parkland on their doorsteps. The Albert Suites in London and Somerleigh Court in Dorchester offer the highest quality of care totally tailored to the individual. They are both within easy reach of shops and cafes and other attractions and have Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings of ‘Good’. A third nursing home is planned at Grove Place in Hampshire.

As well as access to our care homes, should our residents need it, our communities all offer domiciliary care for those who can maintain their independence at home with assistance from our on-site care teams.

We employ all of our staff directly, not through agencies, because we know that the relationship between LifeCare Residences and our staff is vital. Care teams come from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. They are able to talk directly to management and make vital contributions to our continuous improvement and the excellence, professionalism and innovation in our work. Our more than 35 years of experience has helped us identify and reward the best staff for their empathy, care and anticipation of people’s needs. Our rigorous training standards and induction programme arm our staff with the ability to cope with all eventualities and to anticipate many of the needs of our residents. We work closely with local, specialist agencies, including hospices and clinical commissioning groups, to enable multi-disciplinary care working towards holistic wellbeing
